Another Polish band enters Global Domination. Lemme ask you one thing: what do you get if you put together 5 guys who absolutely adore The Great Poles (you know – Behemoth, Vader, Decapitated, Lost Soul) who live and breathe death metal and let them record their own music in a studio with a fantastic result at the end of the rope? Lemme tell you – you probably fucken get 5 guys who absolutely adore Poland’s Finest (you know – Behemoth, Vader, Decapitated, Lost Soul) who live and breathe death metal who record their own music in a studio with a fantastic result at the end of the rope. Mass Insanity is not those 5 guys though. Just thought I’d make that clear.

These fuckos lean towards the thrashier side of the (death) metal boundaries but aren’t really succeeding in shitting out something that you’ll get your panties unknotted by. Sure, it’s nice to see some bands taking a different route instead of just trying to copy The Great Poles (no, I won’t list them again) and run with it, but in this case it’s not fully working. Poland is without a doubt a capital for full-on death metal. Mass Insanity’s deathrash is still in the suburbs.

A half-assed production (with extremely annoying kicks) and some quite poor growls aren’t helping them to get their message across either.

5/10: Ease up on the shit-fast double kicks.

After going thru that crap, you most likely wanna read something way more interesting. You do, admit it.
